Youngsters in Lindford will soon be the kings of the castle as a playground is about to get a majestic makeover.
Excitement is building as the playground on the Chase Farm Estate is due to close today (Monday, January 12) ahead of a six-figure transformation.
A stunning castle-like play structure with a tower, net bridge, climbing rings and rock wall will be the centrepiece of its replacement.
Swings, bouncing plates, toddler slide and “test your agility” area will also be provided in the Lindford Parish Council project.
Funds from the Lindford Summer Fete, EHDC Community Infrastructure Levy and the Lottery have gone towards the project with parish councillors Ron Ruttle and Tara Hotson playing a major part in making the revamp a reality.
