EXHIBITION Mews in Bordon has made the shortlist for the Royal Institute of British Architects South 2016 Awards.

The flagship development, designed by London’s Ash Sakula Architects, is among 32 buildings to be shortlisted in the awards which this year saw 64 entries from across the region.

“We’re delighted that Exhibition Mews is being recognised as an important example of the way housing in Britain could be,” said Robert Sakula.

“It remains important to use less energy in our homes, even though the Government has given up on it for the time being. The Exhibition Mews homes are close to zero carbon and zero energy, as well as being lovely to live in.”

All shortlisted buildings will be assessed by a regional jury with the winning buildings announced at an awards evening at Ascot Racecourse on Thursday, April 28.

Regional award winners will be considered for the national award, to be announced in June.
