A FAMILY fun day at St Matthew's Church, Blackmoor, on Saturday, raised more than £2,147.

Children and their families made coin pictures, which were displayed around the outside of the church in the sunshine, with creations including Concorde, a snail, a dolphin, and an elephant.

The coin trail alone raised £1,420.

Also for visitors on the day were side shows, face painting, a treasure hunt, and a ping-pong game.
