The Farnham Lions Charity Advent Calendar has proved a great local success and is now on sale for a third year.

The advent calendar gives people the chance to buy "the largest raffle ticket in town" and to win one of more than 80 prizes donated by local businesses.

These include weekend tickets for two for Weyfest, a four-ball voucher at Farnham Golf Club, a  family ticket to Farnham Charity Bike Ride, a car for the weekend and a host of other experience, restaurant and retail vouchers and a star prize of £500!

Artist Susie Lidstone has once again provided the calendar artwork and thanks to the generous support of sponsors VisionCare Research, Farnham Furnishers, Michael Conoley Associates, Southern Properties Management, Susie Lidstone, Satori Hypnotherapy and Andrew Lodge Estate Agents every penny received from the sale of each £5 calendar will once again be used to support local good causes.

The advent calendars can be purchased at many local events including The Maltings Market, Farmers Market and Maltings Christmas Fayre and also from several local retailers including the Blue Bear Bookshop, Farnham Vets, The WIne Yard, The Hogs Back Brewery, The Castle Pub and Morgans Butchers.
