RESIDENTS crowded a Lindford Parish Council meeting on Monday night to protest about the "minefield" conditions on the new Chase Estate.

They said children had been scarred by barbed wire left in uncut grass, played near a live electric junction box, and were in danger of falling into an uncovered drain culvert.
