WHITEHILL Town Council this week revisited its One Year Strategic Plan as, six months in, progress on targets is being seen.
The town council introduced its strategic plan last September following significant changes to council staff as well as four new councillors joining the month before.
Embarking on a "new stage of its development", it was felt that members should have a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve in the coming year.
Town clerk Chris Youngs outlined progress made over the last quarter, as well as highlighting areas that needed work up until the summer, at the town council's full meeting on March 10.
A key aim highlighted during the plan's conception was to monitor financial procedures set in place to "meet the internal auditor's recommendations" to safeguard its money in the future.
The new procedures now in place appear to be working and this was confirmed on February 27 with a visit by the council's internal auditor who said she was "happy with improvements made".
