THE public were invited to see, over afternoon tea, how the first phase of refurbishments have taken shape at Whitehill village hall.

Residents were able to see, first hand, all that the hall, in Sutton Field, Whitehill, has on offer on March 5 when they also met committee members and others who have helped to improve the hall.

The day coincided with the Clean for the Queen campaign, with volunteers meeting at the hall before venturing out to clean up land behind Sutton Field.
