The family-friendly summer concert had moved to a new home for 2022 and more than 800 concert goers were impressed.
Comments included “it was a great evening and very well organised” and “a great turnout for an amazing event”.
Phoenix Theatre director Rob Allerston said: “I’ve had a long-held ambition to bring classical music to Whitehill & Bordon and with this concert we finally achieved it.
“The music and the weather came together to make a wonderful evening.”
Alton Concert Orchestra music director Chris Gardner added: “We were delighted to take part in this delightful and entertaining musical programme, which with its theme New Beginnings reflected the excitement and expectation of the regeneration of Whitehill & Bordon.”
James Child, project lead for the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company and a former musician, said: “I am so happy we could host Alton Concert Orchestra in Whitehill & Bordon in our fantastic Town Park adjacent to The Shed.
“A Night At The Proms was a great way to top our festival of events this summer.”
The concert was a cultural partnership between the orchestra, the theatre and the regeneration company.
