THE inclusive fitness scheme run at Mill Chase Leisure Centre celebrated its 10th birthday at the weekend.

On Sunday, around 80 people toasted the anniversary of the scheme at Blacknest Golf Club with a hog roast, Pimm’s, and live music from Guildford County School.

Peter Hull, the Hampshire development officer for disability sport, spoke about his life and achievements as a Paralympic athlete.

His talk was later described by Sue Lewis from the centre as “simply inspirational”.

The inclusive fitness scheme enables people, regardless of disability, to access a full-body workout.

Drop-in sessions run each morning of the week between 9am-1pm, and afternoon sessions can be pre-booked.
