THE new Bordon Repair Cafe is open, ready to fix household items and keep them out of landfill.

“You can bring in your broken items and have them repaired by our volunteers while you sit and relax with a coffee,” said the cafe’s Ingrid Collins.

“A donation is requested to help cover the costs. The Furniture Helpline showroom will be open so you can have a look at the wide range of good quality second-hand furniture, find a bargain and help charity.

“We will run a session on the fourth Saturday of every month (10am to noon), when volunteers will repair a range of items. We need more volunteers.”
