BORDON charity Home-Start WeyWater joined the Friends of Bordon Schools to stage a fashion show, generating much-needed cash in the process.
The evening, organised in conjunction with Travelling Trends on June 9, raised £638 for the schools and charity.
The fashion show was held at Bordon Junior School, on Budds Lane.
The Friends of Bordon Schools raise funds for both the junior school and the adjoining Bordon Infant School.
Attendees could try on, and buy, a range of the latest High Street fashions, as well as enter a raffle with prizes including a spa day for two at the Old Thorns Golf and Country Estate, in Liphook, and a manicure at Colours Hair and Beauty, in the Hardys, in Bordon High Street.
Home-Start senior co-ordinator Angela Small said Home-Start WeyWater, which meets at the Chase Children’s Centre in Budds Lane, was pleased with the money raised, adding “a very enjoyable evening was had by all”.
