BORDON may have been badly hit by the recession, but people are still supporting local organisations - as the League of Friends at Chase Hospital found out on Saturday.

Crowds flocked to the league's annual Christmas fair at Bordon's Masonic Hall and helped the organisation to raise £1,200 - £100 more than last year's total.
