HEADLEY Down is one of 27 areas in south-east England set to benefit from full fibre broadband to be installed by Openreach.

The company is spending £131 million to bring the technology to another 375,000 homes and businesses.

South-east regional director Kieran Wines said: “Good connectivity is vital – whether it’s to work from home, access education and care services, or for gaming and streaming entertainment – and that’s why we’re investing across the UK to upgrade our network to 25 million premises.”
