FURNITURE Helpline has received a £500 boost thanks to Woolmer Forest Lions.
Lions president Dick Balchin presented the cheque to David George, manager at the Bordon charity, and will be used to help buy the vehicle the Furniture Helpline currently leases to collect and deliver furniture.
Last year, the charity assisted 950 people, offering them second hand furniture for free or at a very low cost.
David thanked Woolmer Forest Lions for their generous donation, as well as the wider community for donating the money. It will help the charity continue to provide its service to the community.
