A ‘Gonk Trail’ has launched in Rowledge between Christmas and New Year with eight separate festive scenes and other gonks to be spotted around the village.
It’s a totally free event, organised by the newly-formed Rowledge Volunteers group to encourage people of all ages to socialise and stretch their legs.
The one-mile trail launched last weekend, running very early into the new year, with eight main scenes and numerous surprise visitors around the village.

Local artist, Susie Lidstone is supporting the project, and said: “Art in all its forms brings people together and this is another way of demonstrating Farnham’s art and crafts credentials as a creative hub.”
