THE replacement of the number 12 bus – which provided a link between Bordon and Liphook railway stations – with the number 13 could be good news for commuters.

Hampshire County Council, which is subsidising the service, has promised extra connections and a similar running time to the number 12 service to meet mainline trains.

There were worries some services might be cut because the 13 will have a longer route than the 12 service, having to come from Alton.
