HAVING witnessed a theft on his road, a Whitehill and Bordon resident has issued a public appeal for information.

“On Monday, May 7, at about 10.10pm, a neighbour’s unlocked car, on York Close, had a GPS and some other items stolen from it,” John Harding wrote on social media.

“When interrupted by shouts, the thief ran off. I have reported this information to the police.”

He went on to describe the suspected thief as young, of medium build, wearing a baseball cap and an orange T-shirt.

Anyone with information should call Hampshire Police on 101.
