FOLLOWING on from the success of Grayswood’s advent windows last year, houses in the village are once again lighting up their windows with angels as they approach Christmas.

Each day another angel appears in a resident’s window, as detailed on the map distributed to all the houses in the village.

Jigsaws have been employed to carve whole flocks of sheep, and hundreds of holes were drilled to mount lights on angels. There is an impressive amount of inventiveness and variety in the village – one angel is even fashioned out of willow.

Each angel has been displayed to give thanks for something – the details appear first thing in the morning on the village WhatsApp group. The angels will be on display at least until next Monday, December 27.

The event has been organised by All Saints Church and the windows can be viewed on the church’s website at www.allsaintsgrayswood.org
