THE Whitehill and Bordon Town Partnership is inviting community groups to its Summer Activity Day on August 13.

Support groups, dance and drama classes, Scouts and Girl Guides, leisure-activity groups and sports clubs are all welcomed, by the Partnership, to book indoor and outdoor pitches at the Summer Activity Day, now in its third year, at the Forest Community Centre.

Organisations are asked to provide free, accessible have-a-go activities because the event is designed to be an affordable and enjoyable day out, which increases awareness of town organisations and services.

Townsfolk can try out a range of activities for all ages, including cycling, craft, face-painting, a remote-control car track, table tennis, historical costumes and climbing.

For anyone interested in helping to organise the event, roles include helping with publicity; preparing and serving refreshments on the day, and setting up gazebos for the stallholders.

Any groups wishing to book a stall, or volunteers wanting to help, should e-mail [email protected] or call Whitehill and Bordon Town Partnership volunteer Claire Coxwell on 07733 056060.
