GIRL Guides from Bordon, Headley, Liphook, Liss and Petersfield joined together for a fun-filled time at the Girlguiding Petersfield Division ’Go Wild’ activity day.
Around 250 girls aged five to 17, plus their leaders, met over the first weekend in July at guiding campsite Herons Wey in Tilford, near Farnham.
Here they enjoyed activities including grass sledging, bouldering, kayaking, archery, an assault course, grass-head crafts, orienteering and the opportunity to work with Haslemere Museum to create a mosaic from recycled materials, which will go on display.
“Our members enjoy many activities throughout the year, but none more so than getting outside and enjoying the great outdoors,” commented Victoria Ling-White, commissioner of Girlguiding Petersfield Division.
