SELBORNE villagers and East Hampshire district councillors have unveiled the latest work in a project that has seen the village hall slash its energy consumption and reduce its costs.

The recent work has seen the installation of an entrance lobby, new doors and double-glazed windows, designed to fit in with the Georgian character of the building, but which all help to keep the heat in - and there is the addition of sound panels, added to deaden noise and improve acoustics.
