EAST Hampshire District Council is urging the public to have their say on the future of Whitehill and Bordon.

Although today is the last chance to view the exhibition on the district council-led regeneration plans, residents have until March 31 to submit their comments about the town's development.

Anyone, including residents and businesses, is welcome to comment on proposals to redevelop the Bordon Garrison into the new town centre, which will include new homes, jobs and facilities.

The plans to regenerate Louisburg Barracks (pro-posing 500 homes and employment land for about 500 jobs) and to build a relief road are also available to comment on.

The application for the relief road proposes a four-kilometre road that provides access to the new development and reduces congestion on the A325.

An application will shortly be submitted to the council for the development at Quebec Park.

The plans can be viewed online and questionnaires downloaded at whitehillbordon.com.
