Shaun Wallace - the winner of Mastermind in 2004 and now known as The Dark Destroyer on The Chase - will give the Cardiac Health Annual Lecture at the Alton Maltings Centre on October 7.

He has been a criminal defence barrister since 1984 and is also an author and a motivational speaker. He supports a wide range of organisations through fundraising, awareness campaigns, charity quizzes and public speaking engagements.

Shaun will share his story of ambition, resilience and perseverance while shining a spotlight on the importance of cardiac health awareness and support for patients and their families.

Afterwards he will sign and sell copies of his autobiography Chasing The Dream and pose for photographs.
