Lindford residents with time to spare and ideas to share been urged to play their part in the village’s summer fete.

The weather may be wet and gloomy right now but members of the Lindford Parish Council Fete Committee have begun planning for the July 4 showpiece.

Members would love a helping hand with the first “Fete Prep Meeting” taking place at 7pm next Tuesday (February 24) at Lindford Village Hall.

“If you’re interested in helping out, sharing your ideas, or just curious about what goes into planning this event, please join us for our first planning meeting,” said a spokesperson for LPC.

“Whether you’ve some fun ideas or just want to get involved as and when you can, the more, the merrier.”
