The focus of the awards will be on law and order-related projects that enhance safety and cohesion in communities, celebrating those who go beyond the call of duty. To nominate a group or individual before the the January 31 deadline, download the form from hiwcf.com/news.
High Sheriff Mary Montagu-Scott (pictured) said: “There are so many people in Hampshire making a huge difference in their communities and to the lives of other people in their local area. The High Sheriff’s Awards are an extremely important part of my role and I look forward to showing my appreciation for the outstanding work of those people as a mark of respect for their hard work improving the day to day lives of those in need in our communities.”
Shortlisted nominees will be contacted at the end of February and the awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Great Hall in Winchester on March 14.
