PEOPLE had the chance to discuss the upcoming EU referendum last Friday at a meeting hosted by East Hampshire MP Damian Hinds.
The evening event was held at the Forest Community Centre and allowed residents to hear the MP’s view on the issue.
“As with all public meetings, it is a great opportunity to have a free and frank exchange of views and last week’s meeting was no exception,” Mr Hinds said. “The vote on the EU referendum is one of the most important decisions we will make as individuals and as a country, and people rightly have strong views on the subject. I’m pleased we had the chance to discuss some of these issues in an open forum and I hope people felt the discussion helped them in their deliberations on how to cast their vote on June 23.”
The next district meeting hosted by Mr Hinds is at Liss village hall on June 3, at 7.30pm.
