A GROUP campaigning for 2,000 new homes in Bordon - rather than the Government-proposed 5,500 - is demanding that East Hampshire District Council publish an official reaction to its calls.

The Bordon Area Action Group has challenged the council's outgoing chief executive to publish an official reaction to its plea that the Whitehill-Bordon masterplan should be for fewer homes than the Government wants if the proposed eco-town goes ahead.
