HAMPSHIRE County Council has come under fire after it announced a whopping £55m funding gap and the loss of 1,200 jobs this week.
Job losses equating to eight per cent of its total workforce of 15,000 will be made over the next year as the the Conservative-ruled council struggles to plug a massive hole in its budget.
