HAMPSHIRE County Council has come under fire after it announced a whopping £55m funding gap and the planned axing of 1,200 jobs.
Job losses equating to eight per cent of its total workforce of 15,000 will be made over the next year as the the Conservative-ruled council struggles to plug a hole in its budget.
