THERE will be a chance to create a cushion cover in a course being held at Alton Library on February 10 from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Tutor Wendy Turner will show participants how to set up their sewing machine, sew basic seams, insert a zip and possibly add a motif. The course costs £15.

The library is hosting a free emergency first aid course on March 17 from 9.45am to 4.45pm.

There is also a free paediatric first aid class on March 3, and again on March 10, from 9.45am to 4.15pm.
