MILL Chase Leisure Centre, operated by Places for People Leisure in partnership with East Hampshire District Council, has achieved an “excellent” rating for its industry assessment.

Quest, the sport and leisure industry’s national quality scheme, which is backed by Sport England, demonstrates a leisure centre’s commitment to high standards, good practice and customer service. The excellent rating means that Bordon’s Mill Chase Leisure Centre is in the top 15 per cent of centres accredited.

Mill Chase Leisure Centre went through a mystery visit, during which its customer service was deemed “exceptional”, and a two-day assessment.

General manager Al Argenti said: “This is great for our customers, and testament to the hard work and effort of everyone involved at Places for People Leisure.

“Over the past year we have hosted more than 140,000 visits from across our local community and we are looking forward to the centre continuing to expand its range of programmes and activities for local residents over the coming years.”

Quest’s operations director Caroline Constantine added: “Mill Chase Leisure Centre has shown its commitment to providing quality facilities and service to its customers.”
