It’s time to take out the trash as people in a village near Bordon are getting ready to clean up their streets.

Lindford is getting a belated spring clean as a community litter pick and tidy-up will take place this weekend.

Volunteers should meet outside The Royal Exchange at 2pm this Sunday (October 19) with the clean-up expected to take around two hours.

Litter picking equipment will be provided and all ages are welcome to take part but children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event has been organised by Zoe Payne and the Whitehill & Bordon Living Streets group, with participants encouraged to walk, cycle or car share to the start point in the village centre.
