PEOPLE will get the chance to look down on the people of Petersfield this weekend when a church holds a major fundraising event.

There will be fun for all the family at the St Peter’s church fete with David Weeks cutting the ribbon at 10am on Saturday.

Attractions will include tours of the bell tower, a dog show, bookstall, face-painting, tombola and bouncy castle.

There will also be a raffle, coconut shy, live music and plenty to eat and drink with a barbecue, cakes, ice cream and Pimms being served up by organisers.

Kids will love the toy stall while green-thinking visitors should check out the Eco Stall.

Admission is free with proceeds from the day going towards making the church more accessible and welcoming.
