AN Army mechanic will be swapping oil and overalls for glamorous dresses and high heels in a bid to land the the title of Miss England.

Louise Finlayson, 21, from Liphook, usually spends her days fixing Army jeeps and tanks, but on Friday she will put on her make up and apply her fake tan to dazzle competition judges.
