A 42-year-old Whitehill man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault.

The arrest follows an incident in Bordon on Monday, June 3, when a 22-year-old woman, waiting in her car at traffic lights in Woolmer Way, was assaulted by a man.

Her assailant grabbed her arm through the car window and began ranting at her.

Hampshire police would still like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, including three men who came to her assistance.
