THE four Royal Marines originally charged with murder, after 21-year-old Bordon sailor Kyle Bartlett died following a bar-room brawl, have walked free at the end of a four-week trial at Winchester Crown Court.
Last week, the murder charges were dropped and instead Ben Scott, 22, from Portsmouth, was charged with manslaughter, and Mark Clarke, 22, from Southsea, and James Taylor, 26, from Kent, with affray.
Luke Morton, 21, of Manchester, was also charged with affray. All four pleaded not guilty.
