WHITEHILL and Bordon's long-awaited weekly market opens on Thursday at the events arena at Bordon's Forest Centre - to the delight of councillors and traders who hope it will give the town a huge boost.

The market - which it is hoped will eventually be held every Thursday throughout the year - is being run by Prod-Grow Events, the company behind the Saturday market in Alton.
