WHITEHILL mayor Tony Muldoon welcomed guests to his civic service at Bordon's Sacred Heart Church on Sunday.

He was joined at the High Street church by fellow mayors and councillors for the annual get-together.

"I was extremely delighted to see my fellow mayors from the surrounding parishes, including Guildford, councillors from the district and town, and the deputy head girl and boy from Mill Chase school," said Mr Muldoon.

"I wish to say a special thank you to Father Eddie (Richer) for a lovely mass and for the very kind words on my blessing as mayor."
