BORDON'S Mill Chase School this week appointed another interim headteacher - the secondary school's fifth principal this year - as the search for a permanent leader continues.

The University of Chichester Academy Trust, which has been overseeing the school's transformation into an academy, has said that it is worth waiting for "exactly the right principal" following interviews last week.

Alan McMurdo, director of academies for the Chic-hester Academy Trust, has written to parents and staff to explain the decision and to confirm that Margaret Eva, an experienced former headteacher, will lead Mill Chase as interim head until at least Easter next year.
