A BLACKMOOR schoolgirl said farewell to her locks last Saturday - all for a good cause.

Seven-year-old Molly Flavell visited Natty B’s Hair Studio, in Chalet Hill, Bordon, where 16 inches was snipped away from her hair, which will be donated to the Little Princess Trust charity, which makes wigs for children having cancer treatment.

Molly, a pupil at St Matthew’s Primary School in Blackmoor, had been growing her hair ahead of the cut.

Grandmother Margaret Standen said: “It would have been an awful waste to have just discarded such a lovely length of human hair when this wonderful charity exists.”
