Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) has set up temporary traffic lights on the A325 Farnham Road in Bordon.

The lights were installed yesterday (Thursday) and will be in place until next Thursday, 19 October, as part of plans to install 18km of new electricity cabling across Alton and Bordon.

The traffic lights will create a single lane from the roundabout with the A325 by-pass to the junction with Lindford Road and Station Road.

The road will stay open to traffic in both directions, preventing a temporary closure.

However, all work is subject to weather conditions and the dates above may change. SSEN hopes to minimise disruption while keeping their work sites as safe and secure as possible.

Anyone with concerns is encouraged to contact the community relations team at [email protected] or 0800 046 9034.
