IT was only when Drum Housing Association decided to launch a roadshow about how families in temporary housing felt about the support they get, that they uncovered the poignant story of single Bordon mother Carly Gifford, who spent time living on the streets with her baby.

Luckily, the story has a happy ending as Carly now has her own house in Bordon, but not before she had gone through the trauma of having to find somewhere to stay.
