A NEW cycle shop has opened in Bordon, where more emphasis is being placed on green cycling routes with the town development.

Cycle Sphere is the the newest addition to Bordon’s High Street. The cycle service centre provides a range of services for any bicycle, including health checks, routine servicing, upgrades, repairs and bespoke builds.

Founders of Cycle Sphere Simon Bush and Simon Thorn are accomplished cyclists with many miles of experience in both leisure and competitive mountain biking and road cycling. Completing the team of Cytech-qualified mechanics is Phill Hope, a master mechanic with 15 years of experience in the bicycle trade.

The shop owners said the development of the Whitehill and Bordon strategic transport plan affords an ideal opportunity for this new business to support established local riders, visitors and future residents of the town. “We are particularly keen to encourage families to enjoy the current and planned cycling facilities in and around the area,” said Mr Thorn.
