AWARD-WINNING author and TV chef Richard Fox cooked up a storm at Haslemere Travel’s first ‘Around the World’ show, mounted at Old Thorns Estate, near Liphook.
Visitors to Sunday’s event enjoyed the chef’s demonstrations on how to serve up a variety of dishes around the world at the show.
His recipes for paella and onion bhajis went down particularly well.
Those attending were also greeted by a Spanish guitarist before entering the event, which offered 25 stands hosted by leading travel operators and hotels covering every corner of the globe.

Travel firm owner Gemma Antrobus, said : “Following our successful inaugural cruise show at the end of January, our Around the World travel show was also a first for us, as part of our 30th anniversary.
“Happily, the feedback we were receiving as guests left the show was extremely positive.
“The large number of worldwide holiday enquiries we had during the event will certainly keep the team busy on our return to our Haslemere shop.
“I very much hope that we can repeat the event next year.”
