GREAT Britain’s number one trampolinist, double Olympian Kat Driscoll, was guest of honour at Swallows Trampoline Club’s sports awards at Haslemere Museum.
Club members - who come from Bordon, Haslemere, Liphook and elsewhere - enjoyed Driscoll’s inspirational talk.
Business people - from Barons BMW, Blue Hairdressing, Places for People, The Grove Resource Centre - sponsored the event and presented medals and trophies.
Joseph Hutchinson, seven, won junior disability member of the year, and Amy Tantum, 12, was runner up. Both are pupils at Hollywater School, Bordon. Amy Orange, seven, was runner up in the best newcomer award.
Club coach Lynn Joyce said: “Many took the opportunity to have photographs taken with Kat, getting signed autographs and the occasional piece of impromptu coaching.”
