LINDFORD residents packed the village hall on Saturday to protest against plans to build a waste and recyclable transfer station at the bottom of their gardens and next to a care home.
They claim it will destroy the amenity of the area with noise, dust, smells, and lorries delivering waste which could contain asbestos and other toxic materials.
