Gold-medal winning Paralympian Sophie Christiansen will give Cardiac Rehab’s spring lecture at the Alton Maltings Centre on June 1 at 7pm.

Sophie began riding horses at the age of six as part of physiotherapy for congenital quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

What started as treatment developed into talent and culminated in her winning three equestrian golds at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

In total she has ridden in four Paralympics on four horses and won eight golds.
