THE Kingsley Organisation was one of seven charities to receive a cheque for £1,100 raised at the Charity Walk for Peace.

Organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association and East Hampshire District Council, it took 50 walkers from the council offices in Penns Place, through Petersfield town centre and back in September.

Also given a slice of the £7,700 total raised were Havant and East Hants MIND, Crossover Youth Centre in Liss, Swallows Trampoline Club’s disability section, Artscape, Dementia Friendly and the Attenborough Explorer Scout Group. It was presented in an online ceremony on January 23.

The 2022 Charity Walk for Peace is set to take place at the Hogmoor Inclosure in Whitehill & Bordon.
