A NOTICE announcing the death of Gillian Olive Hull, aged 85, on Page 2 of this week’s Herald included an incorrect spelling of Mrs Hull’s middle name.

We would like to apologise to Mrs Hull’s family and friends, and readers, for this mistake – and include the correct wording below, and the notice itself pictured to the right.

It should have read: "HULL, Gillian Olive. Died 19th January 2021 in her 85th year. Much loved and loving wife of Derek for 62 years.

"Loving and much loved mother of Cheryl, Bruce and Lesley, and her six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

"Funeral at Aldershot Crematorium to be held on 10th February, 2021. Enquiries to HC Patrick and Co. Farnham, GU9 7TP."
