For a small village, Oakhanger has a vibrant theatrical scene thanks to its am dram group - the Oakhanger Players.
Under the direction of radio DJ Chas Byrne, whose day job is with the Government
agency safeguarding animal and plant health, the Players attract actors of all ages, with family members joining together.
Chas’ steering style is relaxed, with the fun of staging a show as important as the show itself. He spoke to Bordon Herald reporter Sheila Checkley.
